Pregnant Mom Who Had 10 Boys in a Row Can’t Believe When the Doctor Says Her New Baby’s a Girl

Alexis Brett is no stranger to motherhood. But after so many boys, she is looking forward to raising a little girl at long last.

Alexis grew up an only child. At the time, she did not know whether or not she wanted a large family when she grew up. She decided to just see how things went.

At 22, Alexis was married to David Brett and pregnant with their first child. However, at that time she decided not to have any more children.

Nine months later, she gave birth to Campbell, their first son.

Just a few months later, Alexis discovered she was pregnant again. So in another nine months she gave birth to her second son, Harrison.

Over the next 16 years, she gave birth to Cory, Lachlan, Brody, Bran, Hunter, Mack, Blake and Rotagaid. All these children, 10 in all, were boys.

Then, on Christmas Eve 2018, Alexis thought she might be pregnant with another child. So she took a pregnancy test, which was positive.

After giving birth to 10 sons, Alexis thought she would have an 11th in nine months.

But a few months later, she and her husband were shocked when the doctor told them they were finally expecting a girl.

Of course, there was a 50% chance that the baby would be a girl. But the parents got so used to the thought of having boys that for a while they couldn’t come to terms with the news.

But in the end, Alexis and David were excited to have a baby girl for the first time. Of course, they’ve been parenting experts by now. But raising a girl would be different.

They began their 11th journey to parenthood by shopping for girls’ clothes for the first time. It must have been strange for Alexis and David to buy this after they had been shopping for boys for so long.

Then, at the end of August 2019, Alexis was born. Soon, Cameron, named after actress Cameron Diaz, became the 11th sister, but the first daughter of the Brett family.

When Alexis and Cameron returned home to the family, their parents noticed a change in the family. It was a change for the better.

“They were generally much better behaved around her.” – David Brett.

Now that Alexis has 11 children, she has declared that she will have no more. However, she said this even after the birth of her 10th son.

But this time she is more adamant that her pregnancy days are behind her. It may seem like she’s been targeting her daughter all these years, but the mother denies it. She claims that if she had another son, she would decide not to have any more children.

Right now, Brett’s family is tight-knit.

David and Alexis’ house is large, with five bedrooms. But it’s clear that even such a large building struggles to accommodate 13 people.

Fortunately, the big boys are close to adulthood. Over the next few years, they will be moving to college or their homes, which should free up some space.
