Two 16-year-old girls were kiIIed in a car accident on their way home from a school dance; may they rest in peace.

One thing we know for certain about life is that it is unexpected. We never know what will happen the next day. It is terrible to lose a young life.

Bayleigh Bowlin and Chloe Taylor, like many other adolescent girls around the country, were looking forward to their homecoming dance. The girls were great friends, and they naturally posed together before leaving for the dance.

As any happy parent would, Chloe’s mother proudly shared photos of the two daughters on her Facebook page. She had no idea that only a few hours later, she would have to go through her darkest fear.

On Saturday night, the girls attended a dance at East Central High School in Jackson County. Their family discovered they were missing early Sunday morning and posted on Facebook, concerned about their whereabouts.

However, about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers found a car collision at the intersection of Highway 613 and Lum Reeves Road. The girls were both kiIIed at the scene of the accident after being involved in the mishap.

Officials discovered a 2012 Nissan Altima with Taylor still driving and Bowlin riding in the passenger seat. The automobile had collided with an embankment and a tree, according to authorities.

Officials are presently investigating the cause of the collision.

The girls’ family are obviously devastated by the awful loss of a young life. Chloe Taylor’s mom shared some of the final photos she took of her daughter before she departed for the dance, along with a heartfelt letter.

She never anticipated as a parent she would have to go through this much agony, she wrote. Her daughter didn’t deserve it; she had so much more life ahead of her. She wasn’t intended to depart from this world before the mom. The mom is upset, unhappy, and is in excruciating misery and pain.

It is so painful to know about these tragedies. Families and friends have erected a temporary monument for the girls, who are all taking their time to reflect on their lives.
