Though we are now in the 20th century, swing dance is still being performed in social gatherings, special occasions, and dance competitions.

Swing dancing, as we all know, requires body control and quick movements, all while keeping up with the lively rhythm of swing music.

The preservation of the dance has been successful because of the countless groups and people who have promoted the dance to this day.

Like these two. Jack and Jasmine Willis, who dance in the Young America 6-13 category are amazing. If the last name has a string, then you probably know the Willis clan.

When they say it runs in the blood, well, of course it does! These dancing siblings are extremely talented!

And the song they chose to dance to? It is the older sister who sings with the others who play instruments. Not really. This family is really popular. Skills and good looks all in one clan? Absolutely. Yes thank you!

Very jazzy, it’s like a throwback to the days of the big band era, when everyone was casually dressed, the nights were young, and people danced alive under the moonlight.

The viewer had nothing but words of praise for these incredibly talented children.

We wonder too. Jack is calm. So soft it feels like it’s sliding on butter. And Jasmine, my goodness, this little lady can roll! What a treat to watch.

Swing is a lively, social dance with many twists and turns. It is a very cool and hip dance form that is enjoyed by many ages. Jack and Jasmine are slower paced forms compared to the usual high energy style of entertainment usually associated with dance. But hey, look at these two tearing up that podium. The audience is also amazed.

And don’t you dare underestimate these kids, they can do some tough tricks too. Watch Jasmine flip through the air – fast!

Drop into a half squat, shift your weight from left to right while kneeling like a pro? You bet! She can move, roll and share with the best of them all while Jack does his cool and macho part. Still amazed?

As the show progresses, the routine seems to get more complicated and fascinating. A combination of fancy footwork, some spins and dives, and they have a wide-eyed audience. Pure talent.

And wouldn’t you know it? A standing ovation for Jack and Jasmine. Ladies and gentlemen, this is how you steal the show.

There is no such thing as “too soon” when it comes to talent. In the case of Jasmine and Jack, they certainly proved to us all that kids their age can also conquer the dance floor.
